Allama Muhammad Iqbal Allahabad Address (1930)
It is a very famous address of Allama Iqbal. Mr. Muhammad Iqbal, in this sermon, gave a lucid explanation of Islamic principles to Indian Muslims. He discussed what it means for them as a nation and how they have rights under Islam that are not given by any other faith or culture but only their religion itself. This included having an identity separate from Hindus living next door, which led him to share his thoughts on whether India had room enough at its borders for both sets of people to coexist peacefully without ever influencing one another’s the way of life too much (or at all).
Muslims were facing two major problems in India. Hindus would not let them live freely, and Muslims protected their rights, but even then, some disagreeable times came up when they faced attacks from both Hindu extremist groups or other religions that did not allow for peace between any of its followers.
So, at all, while making sure to hurt the feeling inside everyone who chose this religion during those days with no hope left anymore. Therefore, it seemed like nothing could be done about these terrible conditions until finally, someone had enough.
In his address to the Muslim nation of India and their supporters abroad, Allama Iqbal explained that without recognizing them as one, it is impossible for peace and order to be established. He defined Indian Muslims as a nation with rights protected by law that must exist and prosper so long as they remain united together under one banner.
In India, there are many nations, and they all live in different parts of the country. The differences between one nation and another make it difficult for them to coexist as a single community, but this can be solved by granting each group their homeland where they will be free from discrimination or prejudice against other groups that reside nearby (i.e., Hindus vs. Muslims). Conclusively, Allama Iqbal highlighted that Muslims and Hindus couldn’t spend the life to gather because both nations have a different standard of living.
