Of course, it’s hard to believe that today’s billionaires would ever sell sandwiches or store items on a shelf in a store – but the fact is that many of the world’s richest people have spent their careers. From the seemingly insignificant jobs from the beginning, but thanks to the dedication to do something, today they are flying in private jets and now they are running successful companies and owning billions of rupees.
The owner of Amazon is one of the richest people in the world anyway – you’d be surprised to know that Jeff’s initial jobs were as a McDonald’s cook, and he did it in the ’80s. During that time, he was paid 2.69$ per hour, which is 8$ per hour today – but Jeff, now a successful businessman, has 187-billion-dollar wealth.
Giorgio Armani, the owner of the world-famous fashion brand Armani, took his initial jobs as an assistant photographer – he took the job in 1957 for which he was paid 1.38$ per hour, which is what it is today 12$ an hour – but now the successful businessman’s assets are worth 9. 9.6 billion.
Travis Kalanick, the owner of the online taxi service Top, got his initial jobs going door-to-door, but it’s not too old-fashioned because he took the job in 1998, earning 10.26$ an hour as it is today. At the time it was 15.36$ an hour – but after working on a unique idea, today their assets are worth 3 billion dollars.
Evan Spiegel, the founder of the popular app Snapchat, served as the promoter of the popular energy drink Red Bell in 2008 – and was paid 385 $ a month during the job, which is what it is today 438$ a month, he currently has 9 billion$ in assets.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the popular social media app Facebook, was a software engineer in 2006. Mark was still in college when he created Facebook, but he was also credited with the success of many other projects. Even Microsoft and several other technology giants have on various occasions offered to buy software created by Mark Zuckerberg. Mark’s assets are currently worth 105$ billion.
