The 74th Death Anniversary of Quaid e Azam is today (Sunday 2022), and the day has been marked with solemnity throughout Pakistan.

Quaid e Azam, the founder of Pakistan, was born on 25 December 1876. In addition, Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League party in India. He was an influential political activist who helped create Pakistan on 14 August 1947.

A hero, a leader of men and women fighting for independence–Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the founder of Pakistan. He fought tirelessly to create a separate independent homeland for Muslims in South Asia after centuries under British rule had taken its toll on their religious freedoms and economic security.

As Governor-General post, he worked with his government until 11 September 1948 when death took him away from us; but will always be remembered as Quaid-i Azam (the great leader), Father of The Nation by all Pakistani citizens.

How do Pakistanis celebrate the death anniversary of Quaid e Azam?

To commemorate the day, various educational institutions and political, social, or cultural organizations plan various programs to explore the personality and leadership qualities of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Government representatives visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi to pay their respects and offer Fateha.

On the death anniversary of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan television and radio channels would be broadcasting special programs to highlight different aspects of his life and focus on this extraordinary political struggle. The newspapers will take out special editions in order to commemorate this great man’s struggle for Pakistan across the country.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah got his early education from Karachi. Furthermore, Jinnah studied at Bombay University and Lincoln university in London. He then ran a successful legal practice in Bombay. He was lawyer by profession.

When he joined the Muslim League in 1913, Jinnah was already a member of Congress. This organization worked for autonomy from British rule and had become an influential group by this time.

Jinnah was elected President of the League in 1916. He advocated for Indian Muslims, who were a minority population living under Hindu rule.

A great tribute to the founding father of our nation would be for each of us to serve Pakistan without any selfish motive, ensuring that it becomes a model Islamic welfare state.
